Bessie Lunsford

BESSIE JUNE (CLOYD) LUNSFORD, 93, of Bellville, Texas, passed from this life on Saturday, July 30, 2016. She was born June 1, 1923, in Bellville, Texas, to Raymond and Maude (Barrett) Cloyd. Bessie grew up and resided in the Bellville area throughout her life. She married Barney (Bones) Lunsford in March of 1942 in Bellville, Texas. Bessie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bellville. She worked as a seamstress for her own business most of her life. She loved to fish and enjoyed music, especially listening to Elvis Presley and doing yard work. She is survived by her SON: Elvis Neal (Muddy) Lunsford; DAUGHTER: Molly June (Lunsford) Gonzales both of Bellville, Texas; GRANDCHILDREN: Brandon Lunsford, Brian Lunsford, Mark Heideman, Todd Heideman, and Jana Southerland; GREAT- GRANCHILDREN: Cody and Erik Southerland; Tanner, Michaela, Blake, and Jake Heideman; GREAT - GREAT GRANCHILDREN Easton Southerland, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings: Sybil (Sissy), Raymond (Booger), Aline, Sam, Jim, and Cecil (Buddy).
