Joe Mack Bearden

JOE MACK BEARDEN, 83, passed away at his home in Weston Lakes, Texas on July 6, 2016. Joe was born in Dodd City, Texas on April 4, 1933, to Horace and Tennie (McElhannon) Bearden. Joe grew up in Gainesville, Texas where he attended and graduated from Gainesville High School. Joe worked for Texaco and Chevron as a geophysicist. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Ann) Aldridge on October 10, 1953, in Gainesville, Texas. From this union two children, Joe Bearden and Denise (Bearden) Marsden were born. Joe enjoyed many outdoor activities including canoeing, camping, and golfing. He was very active. He was also a member of the Masons. Joe is survived by his LOVING WIFE OF 62 YEARS: Ann Bearden of Weston Lakes, Texas; SON: Joe and his wife, Oahn, of Houston, Texas; DAUGHTER: Denise and her husband, Rich, of Houston, Texas; GRANDCHILDREN: Britney and Kaleia Marsden, Cia Nicole (Bearden) Baze and her husband, Ben, and Mikkel Bearden all of Houston, Texas, and numerous other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Horace and Tennie Bearden.
