Edward "Earl" Schubert

EDWARD EARL SCHUBERT, 87, of Peters Community, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at his home. He was born March 31, 1929, in Peters Community, Texas, the son of Willie and Laura (Ludwig) Schubert. Earl grew up and attended schools in the Peters Community. He was united in marriage to Mauldine Stuessel, on February 11, 1956, in Cat Spring, Texas. They made their home in the Peters Community. Earl was employed with San Bernard Electric Coop., in Bellville, retiring in April, 1991. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tending to his cattle. Earl was a very outgoing person, he loved to sit and talk with everyone. Earl was one that would go to the neighbor''s house after lunch and share stories until dark. He was a member of the Bellville United Methodist Church and Sons of Hermann. Earl is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Mauldine Schubert of Peters Community; brother-in-law; Clifton Stuessel and his wife Florine, of Rock Dale; Nieces and Nephews: Harvey Stuessel, Jr. and his wife, Joan, Betty Jean Pomykal and her husband, John, Kenneth Brast and his wife, Jennifer, and Debbie Ramirez. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews and very close friends. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Laura Schubert, infant brother and sister, Irene Stuessel.
