JOSEPH BROWN DALZELL, 84, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at his home in Bellville, Texas. He was born January 2, 1931, in Marvell, Arkansas, the son of Joseph Bruce and Alma Mae Gillsepe Dalzell. He enlisted in the United States Army in July of 1949. Buddy earned the rank of Corporal and was Honorably Discharged in December of 1952. He was employed as a City of Houston Firefighter of over 28 years. Buddy was united in marriage to Mary Notle, in January of 1994, in Bellville where they made their home. Buddy is survived by his WIFE: Mary Dalzell of Bellville; DAUGHTERS: Lora Redding and her husband, Henry, of Katy and Alice Taylor and her husband, Rusty, of Freeport; SONS: Bill Dalzell and his wife, Jori, of Navasota, John Dalzell and his wife, Anesa, of Navasota and Richard Dalzell of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is also survived by his 9 GRANDCHILDREN and 2 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alma Dalzell, daughter, Sharon Bruckner, sisters, Helen, Laura, Otheal and Martha and brother, Don.
