John Tom Sanders

JOHN TOM SANDERS, 92, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in Brenham, Texas. He was born November 23, 1922, in Duncan, Oklahoma, the son of George W. and Ruby Busby Sanders. He joined the United States Army in 1948 and was Honorably Discharged in 1952. He was a truck driver by trade and enjoyed fishing. John is survived by his daughter: Joyce Ann Lesikar of Bellville; grandchildren: Jo Ann Lesikar of Chappell Hill, Jenny Lesikar of Midland, and Jeff Lesikar of Katy; great-grandchildren: Megan, Mikaela, and Alex Lesikar. He is also survived by his brothers: Harrel Sanders and Bobby Sanders and numerous nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruby Sanders. A Military Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Victoria County, Texas. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial gifts to any military organization or to the charity of their choice.
