Delphia Della Trusty

DELPHIA DELLA (HARRIS) TRUSTY, 88, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2012, in a Katy nursing facility. Delphia was born October 7, 1926, in Quemado, New Mexico. The daughter of Chaves Allen and Grace (Pen) Harris, she grew up and attended school in Quemado where she graduated from high school. On October 22, 1943, Delphia married Jim Trusty in Quemado where they made their home. Delphia was a homemaker, wife and mother. Jim preceded her in death in 1969. Delphia moved to Brookshire, Texas fifteen years ago. She is survived by her DAUGHTER: Delphia Murphree and her husband, O.D. of Brookshire; GRANDCHILDREN: Christine Black of Katy, Trica Coronis and her husband Aaron, of Sealy, Jessica Stokes and her husband, Brian of Katy, and Dennis Murphree and his wife, Cathy, also of Brookshire; TWENTY-FOUR GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; SEVEN GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; HER BROTHER: Leo Harris and his wife, Margaret, of Twin Falls, Idaho; and numerous other dear friends and relatives. Delphia was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Jim Trusty, her parents Chaves and Grace Harris, and her brother, Nelson Harris.
