JIM PAGE BULLER, 81, lifelong Pattison resident, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born March 9, 1933, in Pattison, the son of Wes and Clara Buller. He grew up in Pattison and attended school in Katy, graduating from Katy High School. He then served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War from 1952 - 1955. After his honorable discharge, Jim attended Sam Houston State University where he earned a degree in Agriculture graduating with honors in 1958. On November 28, 1959, Jim married Katie Anderson at St. Luke''s United Methodist Church in Houston. They have made their home in Pattison where Jim worked as a cattle rancher. A lifelong community supporter, Jim served as a Director on the Royal ISD School Board for 18 years. He was a member of the Brookshire Masonic Lodge #1066, AF & AM for over 50 years and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was also a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite. Jim had also served as a Salvation Army representative for the area for over 40 years, and on the FFA Advisory Committee. He was a charter member of the Brookshire/Pattison Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Jim was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Brookshire. And his passion was genealogy. He is survived by his WIFE OF 55 YEARS: Katie Buller of Pattison; DAUGHTER: Page Valentine and her husband, Robert, also of Pattison; GRANDDAUGHTER: Angela Williams and her husband, Rusty, of Katy; SISTERS: Ida Mae Morton and her husband, James, and Louise Buller; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Jim was preceded in death by his son, John Wesley Buller, his parents, Wes and Clara Buller, a brother, Wesley S. Buller and his sisters, Mary Louise Buller and Verna Kathryn Buller Carmichael.
