Charley May Cray

Charley May Cray passed away January 16, 2015, at Serenity Senior Care Home in San Antonio at the age of 94. She was born October 21, 1920, in Jiba, Texas, the daughter of Charles Fredrick Tinsley, Sr. and Lena Alma Pool Tinsley. Charley May was united in marriage with Raymon Thomas Cray, Sr. on June 14, 1941, in Longview, Texas. They made their home in Brookshire, Texas, for 58 years, where they were members of the Pattison United Methodist Church. During her working years, Charley May was employed as a bank teller at Farmers State Bank in Brookshire. Charley May is survived by her SON: Tom (R. Thomas Cray, Jr.) , 6 GRANDCHILDREN, 15 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, AND 4 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. She is also survived by her BROTHER: Charles Fredrick Tinsley, Jr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and her SISTER: Nancy Jim Johnson of Buxton, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister, Velma Jacquelyn Erlandson.
