Felipe Melchor Tenorio,

FELIPE MELCHOR TENORIO, SR., 72, of Pattison, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Felipe was born February 5, 1942, in Waelder, Texas to parents Hilario and Lorenza Tenorio. He was raised and attended school in Flatonia, Texas. On June 30, 1963, Felipe married Amelia Padilla in Houston, Texas and raised 3 children. They made their home in Houston until 2002. Since then, they have resided in Pattison and are members at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Felipe was an extremely hard worker all of his life. He was employed by Houston Grinding and Manufacturing Co. as a material specialist for 32 years until he retired. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Felipe treasured the precious moments he was able to spend with his family. He especially enjoyed celebrations, vacations, school and sporting events with his family. He also enjoyed music and gardening. Felipe was preceded in death by his parents, Hilario and Lorenza Tenorio, 2 sisters and 1 brother. He is survived by his WIFE OF 51 YEARS: Amy Tenorio; DAUGHTERS: Terri Gibson and husband, Don, and Veronica Tenorio and partner, Rafael; SON: Felipe Tenorio, Jr. and wife, Imelda; GRANDCHILDREN: Jennifer Mindiola and husband, Paul, Stephanie Hobson and husband, Lee, Rudy Nunez, II and wife, Tanya, Gerald Tenorio-Ruiz and wife, Liza, Desiree Gonzalez and husband, Jose, Angelica Magana and husband, Angel, Francisca Sandoval and husband, Mozes, Jessica Ruiz and Joshua Tenorio; 17 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; 1 BROTHER; 8 SISTERS; 2 LOVING SISTERS-IN-LAW; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
