Minnie Annie Stasny Bell was born on January 23, 1914, and lived her entire life as a resident of Waller County. Her parents, Annie and Charlie Stasny, raised Minnie, her sister, Adele, and foster daughter, Helen Mikeska, at their home on north Adams Flat Road. After graduating from Pattison High School in 1932, Minnie married Fred Bell. Later, Minnie and her sister Adele opened B & G Grocery Store in Monaville. At the age of 100, Minnie still loved to travel, work in the yard and played bingo and dominoes. She also loved to dance and just enjoyed staying busy. She was a long time member of the Pattison United Methodist Church in Pattison, Texas. Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; father and mother, Charlie and Annie Stasny; sister, Adele Griffin, and brother-in-law, Merle Griffin; Helen Zadelsky, who was like a daughter to Charlie and Annie Stasny, and Louie Zadelsky. Minnie is survived by her cousin Mary Helen Guinn (Vern); and many other nieces and nephews.
