Benito Canto Munoz

Benito "Benny" Canto Munoz, 59, of Carrizo Springs, Texas, passed away August 20, 2014 in Austin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Angelia Munoz; son, Raymond T. Sherlock; brother Louis Munoz; sisters, Gloria, Suzie and Lupe Munoz and is survived by his wife, Amanthia Munoz of Carrizo Springs; daughter, Jennifer D. Stolar and husband, Richard of Columbus, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew J. Arcos, Dylan J. Arcos, Jessie J. Arcos, RossT Arcos, Elizabeth D. Stolar and Robert D. Sherlock; sisters, Minerva Pate and Leonora Munoz; brother, Manuel Munoz; nephews, George Pate and Timmy Munoz; niece, Gloria Munoz; and numerous other family members and many dear friends. Benny was born on March 21, 1955, in Brookshire, Texas, the son of Manuel and Angelia Canto Munoz. He grew up and attended school in Brookshire. He married Amanthia Sherlock on March 27, 1990. Benny had been employed with Wayne England Rice Farming and also as a maintenance worker for Harris County. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
