Henry Moreno, Sr.

HENRY MORENO, SR., 61, of Pattison, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. Henry was born on May 5, 1953, in Brookshire, Texas, to parents Refugio Moreno and Antonia Cobia Moreno. He grew up and attended school in Brookshire until he started working in general maintenance. Henry married Christine De Luna on November 20th. They were together as husband and wife for 43 years. They made their home in Pattison, Texas, where they raised their five children. Henry loved relaxing at home with family and watching western movies or going out for the day to fish on the lake. Henry is survived by his WIFE: Christine Moreno of Pattison; DAUGHTERS: Hellen Garnica, Angelina Moreno, Penny Moreno and Daphne Gonzales, all residents of San Antonio; SON: Henry Moreno, Jr., also of San Antonio; SISTERS: Lupe Fletcher and husband, Jimmy, of New Caney, Ruth Compean of Sunny Side, and Becky Moreno, also of Sunny Side; BROTHER: Pete Moreno and wife, Julia, of Katy; 10 GRANDCHILDREN; 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; and many other dear friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Benny Moreno.
