Mollie Jeanette Chupik

December 12, 1922 — April 6, 2014

Mollie Jeanette Chupik was born December 12, 1922 in Rosenberg, Texas to Walter Garnoski and Mary Borowiak Garnoski. She passed away peacefully on April 6, 2014 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer''s. Mollie was a lifetime member of Rosenberg Brethren Church, where she served as a Christian Sister for many, many years. In 1945, Mollie worked in the office of the Rosenberg Cotton Gin, which her father-in-law, Frank Chupik, owned. In the 40''s, Mollie worked the soda fountain in the old Pickard & Huggins Drugstore on 3rd Street in downtown Rosenberg, known today as Another Time Soda Fountain. Then in 1947, Daniel and Mollie Chupik started their own business, Rosenberg Venetian Blind Company. Mollie will always be remembered for all her caring words and acts of kindness. Mollie is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-laws, Brenda and Ray Hein of Sugar Land, Texas, Sheri and Kenny Seymour of Richmond, Texas, grandchildren Shayne and wife, Tracy Macha of Sugar Land, Texas, Shelby Macha of Richmond, Texas, Morgan Macha of Richmond, Texas, Michael Hein of Sugar Land, Texas, Keegan Hein of Sugar Land, Texas, Kyle Seymour of Richmond, Texas, Kaylee Seymour of San Marcos, Texas, and Karli Seymour of Wharton, Texas, sister Clara Smith of Tyler, Texas, sister-in-law Joy Chupik of Rosenberg, Texas, brother-in-law Ben Chupik of Rosenberg, Texas, and the newest arrivalgreat granddaughter Reagan Macha, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mollie is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Frank Chupik, her parents, Walter and Mary Garnoski, and sisters Effie Gerken and Millie Kaminski. Serving as pallbearers are the grandsons, Shayne Macha, Shelby Macha, Michael Hein, Keegan Hein, and Kyle Seymour and son-in-laws Ray Hein and Kenny Seymour.
