Gloria Styers Baker Yanchak

GLORIA STYERS BAKER YANCHAK of Pattison, Texas, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 80. Gloria was born to parents, Otis Felton Styers and Nora Sophie Andricks Styers, in Hempstead, Texas, on September 8, 1933. Gloria was a dedicated lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church of Pattison Texas. She was employed by Royal ISD for 38 years as the Tax Assessor and served on the Royal ISD school board as Trustee for many years. Some of Gloria''s hobbies included gardening and raising cattle. Gloria is survived by her HUSBAND: J.D. Yanchak of Pattison, Texas; SONS: Danny Baker Sr. and his wife, Debbie of Pattison, Texas, Tommy Baker and his wife, Caren, of Floresville, Texas; GRANDCHILDREN: Danny Baker Jr., Brittany Baker, Michael Baker Jr., Emily Joan Baker, Jared Baker, Brandy Aguiluz and her husband, Chris, Emily Baker Hammond and her husband, Joel, Sarah Baker Chadid and her husband, Ahmed, D.J. Yanchak, Dustin Yanchak , Lindsey Yanchak Lauder, Leah Yanchak Fraysur, Amie Carroll; GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Jason Baker, Jacob Baker, Jackson Hammond, Harrison Hammond, Miles Chadid, Ashley Aguiluz, Sarah Aguiluz, Kayla Aguiluz, Lucy Aguiluz, Savannah Garner, Dylan Pendergraft; and many other nieces, nephews and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Otis Styers, Jr., son, Michael Baker, Sr., and her daughter, Karen Carroll.
