Willie R. Tolbert

Willie R. Puryear Tolbert, 78, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013, in Sealy, Texas. She was born March 23, 1935, in San Angelo, Texas, the daughter of Grady Ray and Demis Alberta Sim Puryear. Willie was described as a jack of all trades and a go getter. She was a self-employed truck driver, hauling anything from watermelons to cable. She loved to cook, fish and entertain, and could make friends wherever she went. Willie is survived by her DAUGHTERS: Flora Robinson and her husband, Dennis, Rita J. Murray and her husband, Frank, all of Sealy; SON: Richard Wayne Tolbert and his wife, Donnelle, of Georgia; SISTERS: Gene Martin and her husband, Jim, of Corny, Oklahoma, Rita Northrope and her husband, Roger, of Corny, Oklahoma, Frieda Woods and her husband, Odie, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; HALF-BROTHER: Dennis Puryear of Houston; HALF-SISTER: Paula Sue Puryear; 11 GRANDCHILDREN, 15 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND THREE GREATGREAT-GRANDCHILDREN. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Verda, and brother, Grady Ray.
