Ruth Mary Sundberg

Ruth Mary Sundberg was born in West Point, Iowa, to the parents of Frank and Rosalia Bohnenkamp on June 22, 1940. She grew up in and attended Catholic School at St. Mary''s in West Point, Iowa. Over the years, Ruth made her home in St. Paul, MN; Eugene, OR; Huntington Beach, CA; Phillipsburg, NJ; Stroudsburg, PA; Houston, TX. Ruth will always be remembered by everyone as CEO of the household. Ruth had a contagious personality and she will never know how many lives she touched throughout her life. She will be remembered by her loved ones and friends by her warm smile, laugh, cooking, and beating everyone at Scrabble. She loved her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed baking, reading, solving crosswords, watching crime TV, and spending time with her family and friends. She passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the young age of 73. She is survived by her CHILDREN: Bryan Sundberg and his wife, Georgia; Charlie Sundberg and his wife, Karen; Samuel Sundberg and his wife, Amy; Susan Hendry ; Cindy Olson and her husband, Larry; and GRANDCHILDREN: Sophia Olson, Megan Olson, Veronica Olson, Alice Olson, Mason Hendry, Samantha Hendry, Savannah Sundberg, Shawn Sundberg, Logan Sundberg, Spencer Sundberg and Zachary Sundberg; and GREATGRANDCHILD: Emma Cortez. She is also survived by her sisters, Vivian Palmer, Nancy Beattie, and Sue Perry; brothers, Sonny Bohnenkamp and Ronald Bohnenkamp, and preceded in death by her brother, Leslie Bohnenkamp.
