Bernard Louis Weadock, or as known by most, "Uncle Buddy," passed away on October 8, 2013, in Pattison, Texas, at the age of 83. Buddy was born on June 29, 1930, to parents, Bernard Louis Weadock and Mary Moore, in Chicago, Illinois. Buddy was raised in and attended school in Houston, Texas. Upon completing some college, Buddy served our great nation from 1950 to 1954 in the Navy, obtaining the rank of Seaman First Class. After his service, he spent most of his time selling whatever he could. From carpet to cars, Buddy could sell just about anything to anyone. Buddy lived large, and was loved by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. Buddy was a season golf professional and he had mastered the yo-yo at an early age. The yo-yo champion liked to show off his tricks, and even if his skills weren't as sharp as they used to be, he could probably convince you they were better than ever. Buddy is survived by his SONS: Michael Jay Weadock and Patrick Dru Weadock; DAUGHTER: Sylvia Denise Weadock; GRANDDAUGHTERS: Courtney Weadock and Tiffany Weadock; SISTERS: Nancy Braender of Peachtree City, Georgia, Shirley Manke of Katy Texas, Mary Waldrop of Pattison, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Louis Weadock, Sr. and Mary Moore, and his sister, Gerry Grubbs.
