Eloisa Espinoza Paredes

Eloisa "Locha" Espinoza Paredes, 68, resident of Bellville, Texas. She was born April 14, 1945, in Freer, Texas, the daughter of Federico and Lucia Cavazos Espinoza. Went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2013. She grew up and attended schools in Freer, graduating from Freer High School in 1964. The youngest of ten children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She devoted her life to her family and working hard to raise her three sons, and was very proud of her grandchildren. Locha enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family, whether it be in person or countless hours on the phone. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents Federico and Lucia Espinoza, daughter-in-law: Rebecca Paredes, sister: Elisa Garza and Elodia Espinoza; brothers: Emerardo Espinoza and Elizardo Espinoza; brother-in-law: Santiago Garza and Adolfo Vela and nephew: Eddie Espinoza. Locha is survived by her son: George Paredes and girlfriend, Shawn Herrera, of Bellville, son: Victor Paredes of Kaufman, son: Elivaldo Paredes and his wife, Karin, Bellville, sister: Herlinda Garza of Freer, sister: Elodia Ramirez and her husband Ramiro, of Freer, sister: Eudelia Vela of Freer, brother: Francisco Espinoza and his wife, Esperanza, of Freer, brother: Emilio Espinoza and his wife, Viola, of Rivera, granddaughter: Jessica Paredes of Bellville, grandson: Jerry Melanco of Bellville, grandson: Kodi Krumrey of Bellville, grandson: Miguel Herrera of Bellville, granddaughter: Chilla Herrera of Bellville, granddaughter: Ashley Herrera of Bellville. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013, from 9:00 A.M. - 10:30 A.M., at the St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 1500 Duval Avenue, Freer, Texas, with a Rosary being recited at 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. with Father Sebastian V. Thomas, Celebrant. Interment will be in the Hahl Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Eddie Cantu, Jerry Melanco, Miguel Herrera, Michael Sanders, Valdo Garza and Ramiro Ramirez, III The family would like to express their gratitude to granddaughter, Jessica Paredes, Shawn Herrera and the late Becky Paredes for all the love and care you gave to our mother during her long sickness. Also to Dr. Bosse, the staff at the Briarwood Manor and Compassionate Care Hospice.
