Jesse L. Welch Jesse L. Welch, 71, of Victoria, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He was born August 27, 1940, in Gorman TX to the late Ottis and Claudia Welch. He was a man of great faith who attended Faith Family Church. Jesse was raised in Texas and New Mexico. As an adult he lived and worked in the Four Corners and Rocky Mountain areas before settling in Texas. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Johnnie Welch, daughters Lisa Gordon and her husband Dale, Deborah Cahoon. Sons Roger Welch and wife Deanna, Sidney Welch and his wife Paulette. Sisters Naomi Parker, Ruth Ann Petersen and Rebecca Haws. 19 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Including his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Eunice Hayes and brother Edgar Welch. The family will receive visitors Thursday June 7, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Victoria TX . A second visitation will be held Friday, June 8, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 12029 Hwy 36, South Bellville TX. Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Christian Faith Church, Bellville TX Pastor Lynn Beurling officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Bellville, TX. Serving as pallbearers are grandsons, Jesse Gordon, Chris Gordon, Kevin Cahoon, Parker Welch, Joseph Welch and nephew Danny Welch.
