JOHN REYNOLDS, 48, of Pattison, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, in a Houston hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. John was born September 7, 1963, to parents Arnold and Julia (Odette) Reynolds. He was born, raised and attended school in Watertown, New York. In 1988, John moved to Brookshire, Texas where he was employed as a delivery man for Local LP Gas. John was united in marriage with Nina Koen on March 21, 1993, in Pattison, Texas. They made their home in Pattison where they were members of the Pattison United Methodist Church. Active in community affairs, John was a fireman for the Brookshire Volunteer Fire Department and volunteered with the Brookshire-Pattison Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, barbequing and riding four-wheelers. But most of all, he treasured the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren. John is survived by his WIFE OF ALMOST 19 YEARS: Nina Reynolds of Pattison; CHILDREN: Rebecca and Chris Ryland, James and Jessica Bartels, Nina and David Moreland, Stephen Bartels and Kelly Robbins, Ashley Newton, Cassidy Reynolds and Cody Reynolds; GRANDCHILDREN: Kristen and Kyle Ryland, Skyler and Sydney Bartels, Elizabeth, Preston and Katherine Moreland, Emily and Cheyenne Newton; BROTHERS: Jay Reynolds and his wife, Lisa, and Mark Reynolds; SISTER: Gail Reynolds Bugg; FATHER-IN-LAW AND MOTHER-IN-LAW: Jim and Jeannette Koen; and many other dear friends and relatives. John was preceded in death by his parents.
