Matthew Lyle Moore

MATTHEW LYLE MOORE, 26, of Fulshear, Texas, passed away suddenly Saturday, December 17, 2011, in Houston. Matthew was born August 7, 1985, in Houston, Texas. The son of Gary Lloyd and Susan Charmaine Rollins Moore, he grew up and attended school in Houston. After graduating from high school, Matthew earned his Associates Degree at Houston Community College. He excelled at basketball and shooting skeet, and was interested in firearms and enjoyed hunting. Matt made his home in Metairie, Louisiana for a time where he obtained his Commercial Driver's License pursuant to his love of driving big trucks. He enjoyed his time in Louisiana and had hoped to return there one day. Matt enjoyed playing guitar, studying history (particularly World War II) and he loved attending college after he returned to Texas. Not only did he have an outstanding intellect but also a great sense of humor. He loved his faithful companion, Pearl, who felt her natural place was sleeping next to him in his bed. Matthew is survived by his MOTHER AND STEP-FATHER: Susan and Bill Archer; FATHER: Gary Moore; PATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Olga Moore; UNCLES: Ronnie Moore and Jess Moore and his wife, Patricia; and numerous cousins, close friends and extended family in Finland. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Emmet and Esther Rollins, and Jesse Moore, and his aunt and uncle Vicky and Terry Moore.
