I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to meet the Lord, June 14, 2011. She was born September 22, 1916. A life-long resident of Brookshire, TX, Mrs. Bostick was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter. She is survived by her devoted children, along with nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed and remembered as a woman who loved the Lord and by those whose lives she touched as an educator, OES Matron, community leader, missionary worker and President Emeritus of Senior Women Division of American Baptist Convention of Texas and its Affiliations of America. She led an active and fulfilling life. She received many recognitions and outstanding contribution awards, both locally and abroad. Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2011, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1318 Franklin, Brookshire, TX 77423. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Jimmy R. Davis Performing Arts Center, Royal High School, 34499 Royal Rd., Brookshire, TX 77423. Interment will follow in the Brookshire Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
