Blaine Elvin Dinger

November 18, 1929 — June 12, 2011

BLAINE ELVIN DINGER, 81, of Fulshear, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on Sunday, June 12, 2011. Blaine was born November 18, 1929, in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. The son of Floyd and Grace (Boyer) Dinger, he grew up and attended school in Jefferson County. After graduating from high school, he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1948 - 1952, attaining the rank of Corporal. After his honorable discharge, he married Edwina Joan Hinderliter on June 23, 1952 in North Freedom. Pennsylvania. They made their home in Buffalo, New York until 1957, when they moved to Frostburg, Pennsylvania. In 1977 they relocated to Spring, Texas. In 1992, they made their home in Fulshear, Texas where they were members of the River Bend Baptist Church. Joan preceded Blaine in death on April 24, 2004, after 51 years of marriage. Blaine enjoyed ranching, and especially treasured the time he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his SONS: Randall Dinger and Robert Dinger and his wife, Mary Lou, all of Fulshear; DAUGHTER: Nancy Callaway and her husband, Edward, of Seattle, Washington; and his GRANDCHILDREN: Stephen Dinger, Daniel Dinger, Sarah Dinger, Anna Dinger, Ryan Quiggins, Amanda Lewis, Tarah Dinger, Casey Dinger and Robbie Dinger. Also surviving Blaine is his BROTHER: Jim Dinger; SISTERS: Louella Roman and Betty Lou Martz; and many other dear friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harold Dinger and his wife, Joan Dinger.
