Edward Mueller

July 6, 1938 — March 25, 2011

EDWARD RUDOLPH "RUDY" MUELLER passed away suddenly Friday, March 25, 2011, at his home in Sealy. He was 72 years old. Born July 6, 1938, in Houston, Texas, Rudy was the son of Edward Rudolph, Sr. and Evelyn Fuchs Mueller. He grew up and attended school in the west end of Houston graduating from Reagan High School in 1956. He then attended the University of Houston where he studied diesel engineering. In the late 1960's, Rudy bought property in Austin County and began farming and ranching. He became a full time farmer and rancher in 1976, when he moved to the farm permanently. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He was also a skilled woodworker, and loved making furniture and working with his hands. Rudy was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy. He is survived by his DAUGHTER: Amy Mueller of Dallas; SISTER: Nelza Fiebig of Katy; BROTHER: Carl Douglas Mueller of Elgin; NIECE: Shannon Wolfe of Katy; GREAT NEPHEW: Hayden Wolfe, also of Katy; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dear Dad, I want you to know that I love you very much. Even though I'm confused by this, I know you are now with the Good Lord, smiling down on us without your worries. You have no idea how much you were loved and thought of by your friends and family. I have never seen anyone handle what you went through as well as you did. You were given lemons, but always managed to make lemonade. And because of that, you showed me what immeasurable strength really is. You were the most talented and meticulous person I have ever known. You took pride in everything you did, whether it was putting out ant bait three months before the family picnic, or making me a coffee table that will last a lifetime. And by the way, a coffee table no mover ever enjoyed lifting. You were always my go-to guy. I will miss being able to call you about how to fix, build or even how to grow something. I will miss getting updated on the local rain report and what happened on "Dancing With The Stars" all in the same phone call. Most importantly, I will miss chatting with you. You were always my biggest cheerleader. You never let me think there was anything I couldn't do. I will always cherish the time we spent together, enjoying the simple things in life. I am so thankful for the 34 years I had with you. I am so proud of you and your life. You will always be a part of me and I know that I will see you in heaven one day. You were my daddy and I will always be your little girl. You're home now and at peace. God rest your sweet soul. I love you.
