Avelina Martinez Huerta

Avelina Aguillon Martinez Huerta was born September 23,1965, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, the daughter of Estevan Aguillon and Josefina Martinez. She grew up and attended schools in Mexico before moving to Sealy at the age of 16. She was united in marriage to Manuel Huerta on July 29, 1989, in Sealy, and on August 26, 1989, Avelina and Manuel reaffirmed their vows at a church in Mexico. They have made their home in Bellville for the past 21 years. Avelina was employed as a furniture finisher at Tesco Furniture Company in Bellville. A devoted member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy, Avelina loved her church. She also treasured the time she was able to spend with family and friends, and enjoyed cooking and tending to her plants. Avelina passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at her home in Bellville, at the age of 45. She is survived by her LOVING HUSBAND OF OVER 21 YEARS: Manuel Huerta, Sr.; DAUGHTER: Edith Huerta; SON: Manuel Huerta, Jr., all of Bellville; PARENTS: Estevan Aguillon and Josefina Martinez of Mexico; SISTERS: Paula Aguillon Martinez of Mexico, Donaclana Aguillon Martinez of El Campo, Bartola Aguillon Martinez of El Campo and Florentina Aguillon Martinez of El Campo. Avelina was preceded in death by her grandparents and infant brothers.
