Suella Tipp Janszen was born August 24, 1932, in Bernardo, Texas, the daughter of Max and Alice Kveton Tipp. She grew up in Sealy and attended Cleveland Community School until the 2nd grade. She had to ride bareback on a horse with her brother, Dick. He often would make the horse buck her off and she would fall in the mud. She then attended 3rd grade in Sealy and graduated from Sealy High School in 1950. After graduation she moved to Houston, where she was employed by Singer Sewing Machine Company. A Presbyterian by faith, Suella was united in marriage to Charles Janszen on April 1, 1960 in Houston, Texas. Suella and Charles lived in Houston before moving to Sealy in 1970. Suella and Charles made their home in Sealy where they owned and operated J&W Crosstie Restaurant from 1983 until she retired in 2006. Suella enjoyed polka dancing in the Austin County area and was an avid Astros and Dallas Cowboys Fan. She also enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. Suella passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Houston, at the age of 77. She is survived by her CHILDREN: Lee Janszen of New Ulm, Mark Janszen and his wife, Lisa, of Sealy and Kim Williamson and her husband, David, of Spring; GRANDCHILDREN: Matthew Williamson and his girlfriend, Larissa Ness, of Austin, Melissa Williamson Fox and her husband, Jeff, of Humble, Sarah Janszen of Sealy, Quincey Janszen of New Ulm and Jason and Scott Janszen of Sealy. She is also survived by her BROTHER: Dick Tipp and his wife, Carolyn, of Sealy; NIECE: Donna Lynn Tipp Wilke and her husband, Jason, of New Ulm; NEPHEW: Randall Tipp and his wife, Marsha, of Sealy and 3 GREAT NIECES AND 1 GREAT NEPHEW.
