Ernest Ward Snitkin, Jr. graduated to glory on June 28, 2010, in Bellville, after succumbing to a long and lengthy illness. Ernest was born to the late Ernest Ward, Sr. and Mary Lorine Bannon Snitkin in Dallas, TX, on March 15, 1935. His family moved to Schulenburg, TX where they made their home, before moving to Sealy, TX and then to Bellville, TX. Ernest graduated from Sealy High School in 1953 and then attended Blinn College in Brenham, TX and University of Houston, TX, graduating in 1958 with a BBA. Ernest worked for the Hughes Tool Company, Southwestern Bell Telephone in the Sales Department, moving on to work in the insurance industry and achieved recognition with the honor of the Million Dollar Round Table, and then became a real estate broker. Ernest promoted his three daughters'' participation and interest in the Austin County Youth Program and 4-H. Ernest is survived by his THREE DAUGHTERS: Christy Frank and husband, Harold, of Brenham, TX, Marty Dickey and husband, Peter, of Denver, CO. and Betsy Snitkin of Houston, TX; THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Amy Chovanetz and Brian Bailey of Houston, TX, Randy Chovanetz and Heather Boring of Houston, TX and Eric Chovanetz of Bryan, TX; two great grandchildren: Jaxon Bailey and Conner Chovanetz. He is also survived by his BROTHERS: Walter Snitkin and wife, Vivian, of Hempstead, TX and Richard "Dick" Snitkin and wife, Janice, of Wimberley, TX; SISTERS: JoAnn Hagen and husband, Bobby, of Bellville, TX and Mary Hancock and husband, Jerry, of Boerne, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Walter "Bubba" Snitkin. Honorary Pallbearers are: Randy Chovanetz, Eric Chovanetz, Walter Snitkin, Dick Snitkin, Bobby Hagen and Jerry Hancock.
