LAWRENCE WILLIAM ZETTEL was born November 6, 1941, in Nelsonville, Texas, the son of Chas J. and Albina Chaloupka Zettel. He grew up in the Nelsonville area and attended school in Bellville. He was employed at various livestock auction facilities including Four County Auction, Port City Livestock, Wharton County Livestock, Milano Livestock and Brenham Livestock and made the round to all these various stockyards during the week. A Brethren by faith. Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman, he loved raising his cattle and fishing. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and football. Lawrence passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010, in Brenham, Texas, after a courageous battle with reoccurring cancer, at the age of 68. He is survived by his SISTER: Theresa Stark of Nelsonville; BROTHERS: Henry Zettel and his wife, Susie, of Nelsonville and Charlie Zettel and his wife, Darlene, of Nelsonville; NIECES: Lisa Kaspar and her husband, Gregory, of Nelsonville and Tammy Rich, of Alief; and NEPHEW: Quintes Stark, Jr. and his wife, Elida, of Nelsonville. He is also survived by his GREAT NIECES: Lilly Kaspar, Mikayla Stark and Ashley Stark, all of Nelsonville and Amanda Rich, of Alief; and GREAT NEPHEW: Quintes Stark, III, of Nelsonville. Lawrence was preceded in death by is parents, siblings, Elgin Zettel, James W. Zettel, Albina Zettel, Annie Zettel, Edna Krenek and brothers-in-law, Quintes Stark, Sr. and Jerry Krenek.
