Guadalupe De Los Santos Martinez

Guadalupe de los Santos Martinez was born January 7, 1931, in Weslaco, TExas, the daughter of Jose and Paula Casares de los Santos. She grew up in Weslaco as a child and traveled around to many places as fruit pickers. Guadalupe was united in marriage to Delfino Martinez on September 16, 1948. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and flowers. She loved spending time with her family. Guadalupe passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, in Sealy. She is survived by her DAUGHTERS: Linda Trejo of Houston, Janie Fernandez of Houston, Yolanda Garcia and her husband, Jesse, of El Campo and Susie Martinez of Houston; SONS: Delfino Martinez of Houston, Carlos Martinez and his wife, Bessie, of Magnolia, Pete Martinez of Houston, Jimmy Martinez and his wife, Linda, of Houston and Rene Martinez of Sealy. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; SISTERS AND BROTHER: Rufina, Margaret, Maria, Gracie and Jose. She was preceded indeath by her parents, Jose and Paula de los Santos, husband, Delpino Martinez and son, Johnny Joe Martinez.
