WALTER LEE PARKER, JR., 64, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016, at his home.
He was born March 17, 1952, in Houston, Texas, the son of Walter Lee, Sr. and Fern (Walker) Parker. Walter grew up and attended schools in the Houston area, graduating from M.B. Smiley High School, in 1970. After graduating, he served his country in the United States Navy.
Walter was united in marriage to Theresa Johnson, July 3, 1971, in Houston, Texas. Walter and Theresa moved to Bellville in 1979, where they raised their three children. Walter loved spending time with his family. Whether playing in the pool with the grandkids or vacationing with the whole family in Colorado, his family was his passion. Always a hard worker, he has been employed as a machinist with Baker Hughes for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife: Theresa Parker of Bellville; daughters: Brandi Killough and her husband, Jay, of Crosby and Amber Friedrich and her husband, Ben, of Bryan; son: Damon Parker and his wife, Jenny, of New Braunfels; grandchildren: Taylor Renea and Allie Michelle Killough and Kennedy Rayne Friedrich; grand dogs: Permit and Marley Parker; parents: Walter Lee Sr. and Fern Parker of Hilltop Lakes; sisters: Janice Walker and her husband, Art, of Trinity, Cynthia Nagy and her husband, Steve, of Waller and Sandra Jacobs of Huffman; brothers: Bill Parker and his wife, Pat, of Mont Belvieu, Bruce Parker and his wife, Kathy, of Mont Belvieu and Brian Parker and his wife, Cindy, of Waller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walter is preceded in death by his grandparents and brother, Paul Parker.
