Shirley Fran Harvey, 81, passed peacefully from this life on November 28, 2016 at her home in Sealy, Texas. Shirley was born on July 16, 1935 to Norma (Shelton) and Lucas King Cornish II in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a child, Shirley lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Crozier Technical High School in Dallas, Texas in 1953. On May 29, 1954, Shirley married the love of her life, Teddy Edward Harvey Sr., in Dallas, Texas. The couple lived in Midland, Texas, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Houston, Texas, before moving in 1970 to Sealy, Texas. Shirley loved being involved in her daughters' activities, including being a Girl Scout leader and teaching Sunday School. She also enjoyed painting, gardening, cooking, fishing, reading, and caring for the family's many pets. She is survived by her DAUGHTERS: Jonnie McGee and her husband, Jess, of Sealy, Texas, Robin Schumacher and her husband, Steve, of Spring, Texas; GRANDCHILDREN: Sarah McGee of Sealy, Texas; Megan Bizor and her husband, Corwin, of Sealy, Texas; Matthew Schumacher of Spring, Texas; GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Ethan Ballard of Brenham, Texas, Brendan Cloud, Brett Ballard, Samantha McGee, Miles Bizor, and Corinne Bizor, all of Sealy, Texas; SISTERS: Dee Cherry, Kay Hamelwright and her husband Ray, and Beverly Evans; BROTHER: Lucas Cornish III and his wife, Carmen. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Katy, and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Norma and Lucas Cornish, and her sons, Teddy Edward Harvey Jr., and Randall Carl Harvey. A private Memorial Service will be held in White Deer, Texas.
