Diana Sue (Mickleson) Megginson

DIANA SUE (MICKLESON) MEGGINSON, 69, of Rockport, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016. She was born September 7, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Dick and Helen (Fowler) Mickleson. Diana grew up and attended schools in the Kansas City area. Diana was united in marriage to Jack Edward Megginson, on April 20, 1982, in Palacios, Texas. She and Jack attended West End Baptist Church in Industry.  Diana was a home designer and builder for over 25 years in the Bellville area.  She was the founder and active member of the Austin County 4-H Colt Project.  Diana was also a member of the AIBD and TIBD Registered Home designers and was active in the Austin County Fair Parade. She was a bird enthusiast, horse trainer, showing class cutting horses. Diana is survived by her husband, Jack E. Megginson of Rockport; sons: Scott Randall of Portland, Oregon and David Seymour of Wichita, Kansas; step daughter: Gayle Demny of Tomball; grandchildren: Halie Seymour, Storm and Jordan Williams, Jacob and Jenna Eakins, and Jack and Meg Demny; parents: Dick and Helen Mickleson of Wichita, Kansas; sisters; Sharon, Judy and Vicki, all of Wichita, Kansas.
