Gary Lee Bullard

GARY LEE BULLARD, 55, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 27, 2017.   Gary was born in Houston, Texas on May 9, 1961, to Robert and Joyce Bullard.  He was baptized on July 9, 1961 at Salem Lutheran Church in Houston. He was confirmed at Gloria Lutheran Church Downers Grove, Illinois Gary graduated from Carmel High School in 1979 and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Technical Engineering.  He was fraternity brother of SAE. Gary married Rhonda Longnion on March 25, 1989. Gary was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church.  Gary spent his career in sales and first worked for Westvaco.  He traveled extensively to South America and was fluent in Spanish and Portuguese as well as speaking some German.   He also lived in Chicago, Illinois, Charleston, South Carolina and Miami, Florida, after his parents moved to Texas.  He moved his family back to Texas, when he changed jobs to work for Koch Chemicals in Houston and finished his career at Baker Hughes.  Gary spent his free time with his cows and as everyone who knew him will well would tell you.  Gary always loved the country and his cows.   He was a loving husband and father to his children.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  He is survived by his wife: Rhonda of Bellville; his children: Taylor Lee of Austin, Joshua Kyle of College Station and Shelby Elaine of Houston; his mother: Joyce Brast Bullard of Bellville; parents -in - law: Neta and Minor Longnion; sisters: Denise Harvey and her husband, Curtis, Cristy Adams and her husband, Lee and Judy LeBlanc and her husband, Al; brother, Glen Longnion and his wife, Madeline; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Bullard. Pallbearers are: Matthew Johnston, Benjamin Johnston, Derek LeBlanc, Justin Sanchez, Keith Bauman, Justin Anderson, Stephen Brast, Winston Brast and Clifford Brast. Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Vasicek, Harry Brast and Albert Brast.
