Norma Stamnitz Krumrey

Norma Martha Lena (Stamnitz) Krumrey, 96, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2017, in Bellville, Texas. She was born on January 16, 1921, in the Ives Creek Community, the daughter of Gustav and Elizabeth (Patant) Stamnitz. Norma grew up and attended school in Ives Creek. In 1939, she married Herbert Melton Krumrey in Bellville, Texas. She lived in the Bellville area throughout her life. Norma was a member of the Bellville United Methodist Church as well as the Exxon Annuitants. She was an avid fisherman, enjoyed crocheting and gardening until she lost her sight. Norma also loved showing her support by attending all of her families sporting events. She is survived by her son: Michael Krumrey and his wife, LaVerne, of Brenham, Texas;  grandchildren:  Frankie Krumrey and his wife, Donna, of Bellville, Texas, Debbie Diemer and her husband, Ted, of Sealy, Texas,  and John Krumrey and his wife, Jennifer, of Bellville, Texas; great- grandchildren:  Candi Stilts and her husband, Greg, of Sealy, Texas, Neal Diemer and his wife,Tamara, of Sealy, Texas, Ashley Payton and her husband, Ryan, of Cypress, Texas, Rusty Krumrey and his wife, Krystal, of Chicago, Illinois, Morgan Krumrey, of Katy, Texas, Katelin and Carson Krumrey of Bellville, Texas; great-great-grandchildren:  Tanner, Logan, and Carter Stilts, Hannah, Eden, and Stone Diemer,  Maximus, Jade, Presley, and Tyse Payton,  Hailee and Hunter Krumrey; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Norma was preceded in death by her parents: Gustav and Elizabeth Stamnitz; husband:  Herbert M. Krumrey; son and daughter-in-law: Melton and Jackie Krumrey; grandson:  Richard Krumrey; great-great twin grandchildren; and her dear friend, Lloyd Parsons.
