Katherine "Katie" Anderson Buller

Katherine Anderson Buller, 76, passed away peacefully at home with her daughter, Page, granddaughter, Angela, & great-granddaughter, PresleyAnn at her side.   Katie was born in Houston October 31, 1940, the daughter of John & Clara Bell Anderson.  Katie grew up in Houston where she attended Kinkaid School & graduated from Lamar High School in 1958, with honors.   She attended Texas Tech where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega.   On November 28, 1959, Katie married Jim at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Houston.  They made their home in Pattison.  For many years she was a Sunday School teacher at First United Methodist Church of Brookshire & held several offices, where she was active until she was no longer able to attend church due to her health.  She loved her antiques & going to Canton for First Monday Trade Days.   After her son’s death in 1996, she began volunteering at Texas Children’s Hospital on the 4th floor where the Cystic Fibrosis patients were.   She is survived by her daughter, Page Valentine and her husband, Robert, of Pattison; Granddaughter: Angela Williams & her husband, Rusty, of Pattison; Great-granddaughter, PresleyAnn Page Williams, and numerous nieces & nephews.  Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, and their son, John, her parents, John & Clara Bell Anderson.
