Felipe Santiago "Nano" Cruz, Jr.

FELIPE SANTIAGO “NANO” CRUZ, JR., 25, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away April 3, 2017, in Katy, Texas.   Nano was born April 11, 1991, in Katy, Texas to parents Felipe Santiago Cruz, Sr. and Gloria Hernandez Cruz.  He was the youngest of six children.  He was literally the baby. He grew up in Brookshire, Texas and attended the Royal ISD schools graduating from Royal High School in 2010.   Nano was a happy person with a beautiful smile.  He never let his disability slow him down - he was a fighter to the end.  Nano was friendly with everyone.  He enjoyed watching Barney and WWE Wrestling, but his favorite thing to do was sit and look out the window.   He is survived by his mother:  Gloria Cruz of Brookshire; one sister:  Gloria Gudiño and her husband, Scott Bass, of Katy; his four brothers:  Valentin Reyes and his wife Stephanie, Valdemar Reyes and his wife, Janeth, Francisco Gudiño and his wife, JoAnne, and Ruben Cruz, all of Brookshire.  Nano also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
