Agustin Barrientos

AGUSTIN BARRIENTOS, 60, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in Sugarland.

Agustin was born May 5, 1959, in Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Cornelio and Guadalupe (Briones) Barrientos. He was united in marriage to Maria Sanchez on February 22, 1981, in Mexico. Agustin and Maria have made their home in Brookshire for the last thirty years and are members of Jesucristo Es La Respuesta. An avid outdoorsman, Agustin enjoyed gardening and was a landscaper by trade.

Agustin is survived by his wife: Maria Sanchez of Brookshire; daughters: Maria Escobar and husband, Jose, of Brookshire, Maria Barrientos and husband, Moses, of Brookshire, and Magdalena Sotelo and husband, Carlos, of Ventura, CA; sons: Agustin Barrientos and wife, Elsa, of Brookshire and Daniel Barrientos and wife, Monserrat, of Brookshire; twelve grandchildren; sisters: Maria Gallegos of Austin, Esperanza Barrientos of Nacogdoches, Isabel Barrientos of Mexico, and Ramona Barrientos of Mexico; and brothers: Antanacio Barrientos and wife, Aurora, of Houston, Gabriel Barrientos and wife, Raquel, of Katy, and Amado Barrientos and wife, Delfina, of Brookshire.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Florencio Barrientos.
