Allen Ladig

ALLEN LADIG, 88, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, in Brenham, Texas.   He was born September 12, 1928, in Houston, Texas, the son of Will and Selma (Hartman) Ladig. Allen grew up in Cat Spring, attending Cat Spring School, graduating from Sealy High School. He was united in marriage to Doris Raiford, in Houston, in February, 1950. Allen was employed as a computer programmer for many years. He and Doris moved to Cat Spring in 1983. Allen enjoyed dancing, fishing, gambling trips, gardening, and traveling.   He is survived by his daughter: Diana Ladig of Bellville; sons: Allen Wayne Ladig of Bellville and Wesley K. Ladig of Houston; sisters-in-law: Judy Parker of Houston, Marion Raiford of Willis and Peggy Jackson of Tyler and special friend: Mary Bartlett of Sealy.   Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ladig, four brothers and four sisters.   Pallbearers were: Steve Russ, Andy Raiford, Kenny Parker, Luke Raiford, Tony Raiford and Robert Cirilo.
