April Sue Lavender

APRIL SUE LAVENDER, 50, of Sealy, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, in Katy, Texas. She was born October 10, 1972, in Ontario, Ohio, the daughter of Kenneth and Brenda (Hazlett) McQuiston. April spent the first few years in Ontario, before her family moved to Sealy, Texas, where she attended school, graduating from Sealy High School in 1993. A Baptist by faith, April was employed in sales in the retail industry. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching crime shows, and spending time with her family. April is survived by her daughters: Erica Lavender of Sealy, and Brianna Lavender of Sealy; grandchildren: Elijah, Richard, Jakob, Renesmae, and soon to be born, Lilith; mother: Brenda McQuiston of Sealy; and nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. She was preceded by her father: Kenneth McQuiston; Uncles: Donald Hazlett, and Willie Hazlett.
