ARIEL ANGEL PEREZ, 21, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in Katy, Texas.

Ariel was born October 26, 1999, in Gonzales, Texas, the son of Jose and Teresa (Torres) Perez. He grew up in the Brookshire area, graduating from Royal High School. Ariel worked hard as a landscaper. He was a member of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church in Katy and participated in the Christus Vivit. Ariel enjoyed helping others and bringing guests to church to share his faith. He also enjoyed running, bicycling, music, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents:  Jose and Teresa Perez of Brookshire; sister:  Caitlyn Perez of Brookshire; brother:  Daniel Perez of Brookshire; grandparents: Lorenzo and Carmen Rosas of Gonzales and Daniel and Romana Torres of Mexico; aunts:  Balbina Cardoza and husband, Merced, of Gonzales and Rocio Perez and husband, Francisco, of Dade City, FL; uncles:  Nicolas Perez and wife, Marta, of Houston, Juan Perez and wife, Valentina, of Gonzales, Abel Rosas and wife, Delia, of Seguin, George Perez and wife, Dulce, of Houston, Angel Rosas and wife, Alma, of Gonzales, Domingo Torres and wife, Margarita, of Waelder, Alvaro Torres and wife, Blanca, of Mexico, Jose Torres and wife, Adriana, of Mexico, Juan Torres of Mexico, and Guadalupe Torres and wife, Rocio, of Summerville; and numerous cousins and friends.

Ariel was preceded in death by his aunt: Maria Torres.
