Ashley Joanna Perez

Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Ashley Pérez. Nacida en Richmond, Texas, Ashley creció en la cálida y unida comunidad de Wallis, Texas, donde se formaron sus valores y carácter. A lo largo de su vida, mantuvo un vínculo especial con Sealy, Texas, un lugar que siempre tuvo un lugar especial en su corazón y donde forjó relaciones duraderas con amigos y vecinos.

Ashley era la hija amada de Efrén Pérez y Juana Pérez, cuyo amor incondicional y orientación cariñosa dieron forma a la extraordinaria persona en la que se convirtió. Su constante apoyo y cuidado la motivaron a buscar la excelencia en todo lo que emprendía. Durante la escuela secundaria, se distinguió como una estudiante de honor al tomar cursos de doble crédito, lo que sentó las bases para sus futuros esfuerzos académicos.

Continuó su trayectoria educativa en Wharton Community Junior College y más tarde se transfirió a la Universidad Prairie View A&M, donde persiguió su pasión por la ciencia y la atención médica con el objetivo de convertirse en dentista. Profundamente arraigada en su fe católica, Ashley abrazó los sacramentos con devoción. Fue bautizada, recibió su Primera Comunión y Confirmación, y más tarde recibió la Unción de los Enfermos. Con el alma llena de fe, solo quedaba el sacramento del Matrimonio. Siempre vivió bajo el lema rector "primeramente dios", poniendo al Señor en primer lugar en todos sus planes y logros. Además, participó activamente en LifeTeen, donde, a través de clases, retiros y momentos de reflexión, se sumergió en la Palabra del Señor para obtener una comprensión más profunda de la Misa.

Además de sus logros académicos y su compromiso espiritual, Ashley trabajó a tiempo parcial en Walmart, demostrando una fuerte ética de trabajo y un compromiso genuino con su comunidad. Su generosidad y deseo de ayudar la llevaron a ser voluntaria en el hogar de ancianos ubicado junto al cementerio de Sealy, donde ofreció atención y compañía a los necesitados.

Fuera de su vida profesional y académica, Ashley disfrutó de una vida vibrante llena de pasatiempos. Le encantaba ir al gimnasio, dedicar tiempo al maquillaje y al cuidado personal para asegurarse de que siempre se veía y olía de maravilla y adoraba ir de compras como una forma de expresarse y disfrutar de los pequeños placeres de la vida. Su infinita curiosidad la llevó a aprender y explorar constantemente todo lo que el mundo tenía para ofrecer.

Ashley atesoraba el tiempo que pasaba con su familia, especialmente con sus hermanos. Amaba profundamente a su hermano mayor, Bryan Pérez, y a su hermano menor, Efrén Pérez Jr. La última vez que pasó con ellos fue el cumpleaños de Bryan, el 1 de febrero, un día lleno de vínculos y recuerdos preciados que siempre tendrán un lugar especial en sus corazones.

Conocida por su cálida sonrisa, generosidad y espíritu contagioso, Ashley tocó la vida de todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla. Ya sea a través de sus interacciones diarias o su compromiso de servir a los demás, dejó una marca indeleble en cada persona que conoció.

Ashley deja un legado de amor, alegría y espíritu comunitario. Le sobreviven sus padres Efrén Pérez, Juana Pérez y sus hermanos Bryan Pérez, Efrén Pérez Jr. y también su perrita Lola, quien siempre atesorará los recuerdos y lecciones que dejó atrás. La memoria de Ashley Pérez siempre servirá como una luz de guía para aquellos que tuvieron la suerte de conocerla.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ashley Perez. Born in Richmond, Texas, Ashley grew up in the warm and close-knit community of Wallis, Texas, where her values and character were formed. Throughout her life, she maintained a special bond with Sealy, Texas, a place that always held a special place in her heart and where she forged lasting relationships with friends and neighbors.

Ashley was the beloved daughter of Efren Perez and Juana Perez, whose unconditional love and nurturing guidance shaped the extraordinary person she became. Their constant support and care motivated her to pursue excellence in all that she undertook. During high school, she distinguished herself as an honor student by taking dual credit courses, which laid the foundation for her future academic endeavors. She continued her educational journey at Wharton Community Junior College and later transferred to Prairie View A&M University, where she pursued her passion for science and healthcare with the goal of becoming a dentist. Her dedication to her studies and her desire to help others reflected her compassionate spirit and determination.

Deeply rooted in her Catholic faith, Ashley embraced the sacraments with devotion. She was baptized, received her First Holy Communion and Confirmation, and later received the Anointing of the Sick. With her soul filled with faith, only the sacrament of Matrimony remained. She always lived by the guiding motto “primeramente dios,” placing the Lord first in all her plans and achievements. In addition, she actively participated in LifeTeen, where, through classes, retreats, and moments of reflection, she immersed herself in the Word of the Lord to gain a deeper understanding of the Mass.

In addition to her academic accomplishments and spiritual commitment, Ashley worked part-time at Walmart, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to her community. Her generosity and desire to help led her to volunteer at the nursing home located by the Sealy cemetery, where she offered care and companionship to those in need.

Outside of her professional and academic life, Ashley enjoyed a vibrant life filled with hobbies. She loved going to the gym, dedicating time to makeup and self-care to ensure she always looked and smelled wonderful, and adored shopping as a way to express herself and enjoy life’s little pleasures. Her endless curiosity drove her to constantly learn and explore all that the world had to offer.

Ashley treasured the time spent with her family, especially her siblings. She deeply loved her big brother, Bryan Perez, and her little brother, Efren Perez Jr. The last time she spent with them was on Bryan’s birthday, February 1st, a day filled with bonding and cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Known for her warm smile, generosity, and contagious spirit, Ashley touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Whether through her daily interactions or her commitment to serving others, she left an indelible mark on every person she encountered.

Ashley leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and community spirit. She is survived by her parents Efren Perez, Juana Perez, and brothers Bryan Perez, Efren Perez Jr., and also her little dog Lola, who will forever treasure the memories and lessons she left behind. Ashley Perez’s memory will always serve as a guiding light for those fortunate enough to have known her.
