Audrey Lily Casey

AUDREY LILY (HARE) CASEY, 87, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in Katy, Texas.

She was born October 27, 1934, in Bristol, England, the daughter of Edwin James and Hilda Ellen (Fox) Hare.  Audrey grew up in Bristol and was united in marriage to Ernest Casey, on July 21, 1956, in Bristol, England.  Later Audrey and Ernest moved to Katy, Texas, in 1974, and made Katy home until she moved to Brookshire, where she lived for the last 5 years.

Audrey enjoyed tending to her garden, bird watching, crocheting, and taken care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons: Adrian Stuart Casey and his wife, Linda, of Brookshire, Ian Casey of Brookshire, and David Casey and his wife, Marie, of Truckee, California; grandchildren: Thomas Shatswell, Jennifer Hartman, Erin Casey, Travis Casey, Douglas Casey, Kathleen Casey, Aaron Simons, Kelli Cardiff, and Kaci Neumann; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous other family and dear friends.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Casey, her son, Andrew Casey, and her parents, Edwin and Hilda Hare.
