Balihar "Uncle Bill" Mattu

BALIHAR SINGH MATTU, 64, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024, at his home. He was born July 12, 1960, in Punjab, India, the son of Sadhu Singh and Pritam Kaur Mattu. Balihar grew up in Jalinder Khalan, India, before moving to Anaheim, California. He was united in marriage to Neli McDaniel, in Santa Ana, California 1995. After visiting friends in Texas, they decided to move and call Bellville home. Balihar opened a pizza business, Uncle Bill’s Pizza, and was well-known for his amazing pizzas, love for his customers, and his famous accent. “Uncle Bill” was so loved by many who knew him and will be missed by everyone. He enjoyed watching basketball and listening to punjabi music in his spare time. Uncle Bill is survived by his wife: Neli Mattu of Bellville; children: Balihar Singh “Billy” Mattu, Jr. of Bellville, Hope Pritam Mattu of California, Sadhu Singh “Sam” Mattu of Bellville, and Heather Aston Eubanks of North Carolina; Granddaughter: Emilia Paige Eubanks of North Carolina; Grandson: Brayden Thomas McCarthy of Missouri, and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Sadhu and Pritam Mattu, and daughter: Kathryn Rene Mattu.
