Barbara Ann Hintzel

BARBARA ANN (REDDING) HINTZEL, 73, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, in Bryan, Texas. She was born July 26, 1942, in Bullard, Texas, the daughter of Virgil Redding and Wilma Faye Cooper. Barbara grew up and attended school in Houston, graduating from Smiley High School. She was united in marriage to Marvin Hintzel on October 6, 1962, in Channelview, Texas. Barbara was employed as an Assistant to the Auditor at Bank of Southwest, for many years before attending Houston Community College Nursing School, obtaining her degree in 1992. She used her nursing skills serving others in Bellville nursing homes and home health Care. She enjoyed crocheting in her free time. Barbara is survived by her husband: Marvin Hintzel of Bellville; daughters: Jennifer Pecor and her husband, Ronnie, of Bellville and Angela Smith and her husband, Andy, of Houston; grandchildren: Noah Wiggins of Bellville, Carter McClendon of Bellville, Hannah, Brianna and Joshua Pecor, all of Brenham; sister: Sherry Lumpkin and her husband, Tommy, of Oklahoma; brother: Johnny Christie and his wife, Cheryl, of Houston; sister-in-law: Chris Redding of Pearland.
