Beatrice Elsa Rinn

Beatrice Elsa (Blezinger) Rinn of Industry, Texas passed away December 25, 2020.

She was born on October 31, 1938 to Herman and Selma (Krause) Blezinger and was baptized on February 12, 1939 at the St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm where she remained a lifelong member. Beatrice was raised on the family farm in New Bremen. She graduated from Bellville High School before completing her education at Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration in 1962.

Beatrice married Jay Dee Rinn on August 18, 1962 and moved to Industry where they raised their children Dee Ann and Randy.  Beatrice and Jay Dee managed their construction and cattle businesses while dedicating a portion of their time to volunteer for the Industry Volunteer Fire Department.  She was employed by New Ulm State Bank, Industry Telephone Company and retired from Industry State Bank.

Beatrice enjoyed watching her great grandchildren (McKenna and Luke Masson), great-niece (Kenley Sodolak), great-nephews (Jack and Jake Wise), and Kinch Schubert. She traveled with family and friends to Nevada, New York, Washington DC, Florida, Missouri, Mississippi and Tennessee. Beatrice excelled at growing fruits and vegetables in her garden that made the best tasting canned vegetables and jam.  In addition, she regularly went deer hunting in the hill country, fishing in Matagorda, and gambling in Louisiana with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Dee Ann Waak and husband Matt, son Randy Rinn and wife Kim, grandchildren Darrell Waak, Dylan Waak, Marshall Waak, Travis Rinn, Chastity Masson and husband Sacha Masson, great grandchildren McKenna and Luke Masson, brother Kermit Blezinger and wife Juanita, brother-in-law Burnie Galle and wife Pattie and numerous other family and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Selma Blezinger, husband Jay Dee Rinn, sister Karen Blezinger Galle, brother-in-law and sister-in-law LJ and Doris Rinn, nieces Lisa Galle Wise and Judy Rinn Tiemann.

Serving as pallbearers: Darrell Waak, Dylan Waak, Marshall Waak, Travis Rinn, Bradley Rinn, Sacha Masson.
