Bennie Ray Graeter, Jr.

BENNIE RAY GRAETER, JR. 52, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020, in Waller, Texas.

He was born August 1, 1968, in Hempstead, Texas, the son of Bennie Ray, Sr. and Cynthia Earle (Powell) Graeter.  Bennie grew up and attended schools in the Waller area, graduating from Waller High School.  He was united in marriage to Michelle Steele, on June 12, 1993, in Waller, Texas.  For 24 years Bennie was employed as a machinist for Bettis Industries. He found joy though in working for his most recent employer, Action Rentals in Waller. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and cooking; especially grilling and barbequing.

He was an amazing son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Bennie loved spending time with his family and his precious grandson, Aiden Michael.

He is survived by his loving wife: Michelle Graeter of Bellville; children: Tyler Ray Graeter and his wife, Nicole, of Bellville, and Felicity Michelle Graeter of New York; grandson: Aiden Michael Graeter of Bellville; mother: Cynthia Graeter of Waller; sisters: Katherine Graeter Burton and her husband, Gary, of Waller, and Shelley Graeter Garcia and her husband, Roy, of Hockley; brother: Kenneth Oliver Graeter of Waller; nieces: Ashley, Sarah, Jessica and Marlies; nephews: David, Jonathan, Juan, and Peter; great nephews: Malachi, Jeremiah, and Noah; and numerous other family and dear friends.

Bennie was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Ray Graeter, Sr. and nephew, Roy Garcia, III.
