Benolye Gladys (Zettel) Krause

BENOLYE GLADYS (ZETTEL) KRAUSE, 86, of Industry, Texas, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, in Industry.

She was born March 28, 1934, in Nelsonville, Texas, the daughter of Alfred and Celia (Shupak) Zettel.  Benolye grew up and attended schools in the Austin County area.  She was united in marriage to Edward “Eddie” Krause on November 22, 1952, in Nelsonville.  Later, Eddie and Benolye moved to Industry, where they owned and operated Krause Café.  In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and baking. Benolye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter: Shirley Gross and her husband, Gary, of Industry; son: Edward Krause and his wife, Lorinda, of Brenham; brother:  Alfred Zettel and his wife, Marlene, of New Ulm; sister-in-law: Ruth Zettel of Bleiblerville; grandchildren: Kevin Gross and friend, Karen Marek, Crystal Meissner and her husband, Jerrad, Spencer Gross and his wife, Samantha, Jake Krause and his wife, Shannon, Chelsea Pugh, Haley Chapa and her husband, Joe; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Gross, Kannon, Keagan, and Korbyn Meissner, Paisley Gross, Skylar, Kolby and Bryce Krause, Trinity and Ryleigh Pugh, Lauren and Madelyn Chapa; and other relatives and dear friends.

Benolye was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Krause, parents Alfred and Celia Zettel, brother, Clarence Zettel, and sister, Donna.
