Beth Sykes Krause

BETH (SYKES) KRAUSE, 69, of Cat Spring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Methodist West Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was born October 26, 1951, in Corpus Christi, Texas the daughter of John and Helen (Coleman) Sykes. She grew up and attended schools in the Pasadena area, graduating from Pasadena High School in 1969. Beth was united in marriage to Brian Krause, on June 7, 1986, in Phillipsburg, Texas. Beth was employed at Sealy ISD for over 20 years until she retired. She enjoyed shopping, garage sales, crafts, visiting the Frio River, cooking, and traveling. She was a proud member of the Brenham Varage Sale Group. She loved nature and felt closest to God when she was outside. Her love for her family and the time she spent with them was unmeasurable. Beth is survived by her loving husband: Brian Krause of Cat Spring; daughters: Amy Woodall and her husband, Derek, of Deer Park, and Courtney Krause and her fiancé Christian Curnel, of College Station; sons: Justin Krause of Brenham, and Tanner Krause and his wife, Ashleigh, of Cypress; grandchildren: Skylar Bielstein, and Weston Woodall, both of Deer Park, and Case Karl Krause of Cypress; brother: John Sykes and his wife, Denise, of Friendswood; mother-in-law: Dorothy Krause; brothers and sisters-in-law: Keith Krause and Darlene Loesch, Owen Krause and Buffie McLendon, Lenny and Debbie Krause, nieces and nephews: Stephen, David, and Garner Sykes and Bertram, Kendra, and Kinley Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Sykes, daughter, Lauren Krause, and father-in-law, Otto Krause.
