BEVERLY KAY ZANDERS BAUER, 68, of George West, Texas, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, in Bellville, Texas. She was born September 12, 1955, the daughter of Arthur Henry Zanders and Shirley Ann Anschutz. Beverly grew up in Giddings, Texas, graduating from Giddings High School. Beverly was married and had 2 children. She moved to the Dallas Ft Worth area, where she lived for many years before moving back to her hometown. Beverly met her future husband, William Gus “Bill” Bauer and moved to Hallettsville, where they were married on October 10, 1992. They continued living in Hallettsville until moving to their ranch in George West, Texas. Together they owned and operated 2-B Ranch until her passing. In her spare time, Beverly enjoyed traveling but most of all loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Beverly’s blue eyes could light up a room and she never met a stranger. She is survived by her husband: Bill Bauer of George West; son: Lonny Jo Drews and his wife, Tanya, of Bryan; daughter: Jacqueline Deann Williamson and her husband, James, of Bellville; grandchildren: Brennan James Williamson and his wife, Madison, of Spring, Tristen Lee Williamson and his wife, Krystan, of Sugar Land, Carson Reid Williamson and his fiancé, Jacie, of Round Rock, Jamin Young Williamson of Bellville, Shelby Brooke Lawson and her husband, Collin, of College Station, and Kyle Barrett Drews and his wife, Sadie, of Burleson; great-grandchildren: Brooks Kent Williamson of Spring and Landrie Jo Lawson of College Station; brother: Donnie Wayne Mann and his wife, Shane, of Corsicana; sisters: JoAnne Allred and her husband, Glen, of Arlington and Kay West of Sherman; and numerous other family members and dear friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her father: Arthur Henry Zanders; mother: Shirley Ann Mann; and grandmother: Vivian Anschutz. Pallbearers are Brennan Williamson, Tristen Williamson, Carson Williamson, Jamin Williamson, Kyle Drews, and Donnie Mann. Honorary Pallbearers are Shelby Lawson, Brooks Williamson, and Landrie Lawson.
