Beverly Kaye Colmenero

On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, Beverly Kaye Colmenero, loving wife and mother of 4, passed away at the age of 73.

Kaye was born on September 20, 1947 in Pasadena, Tx to Herbert Ira Fullerton and Claudia Irene (Dewees) Fullerton. She raised 3 sons: Michael, Daniel, and David and 1 daughter of her heart, Cissy.  She was a loving, caring, and dependable woman who gave selflessly to her family and friends. She loved God, her husband, children, and grandchildren with reckless abandon. Often going out of her way to provide for her children and grandchildren, singing songs such as (Raindrops keep falling on my head,  and You are my sunshine), coloring with them, writing scriptures and leaving them around her children's home, never missing a band performance, or just plain being there for them when they needed her. Although her children did not live in the same town, she would drive every week to help watch her grandchildren or to visit. She was a passionate lady who gave from her heart, she loved to laugh, and had a great sense of humor. Most memorable jokes were her "one tiny grain fry rice", the dog with the ice cube in its mouth, and giggling uncontrollably every time she read "The Fart Book". She made all things better by cooking at "KC's Cafe" items like chocolate chip cookies, making Aunt Ruby's banana nut bread, stuffing, giblet gravy, and no one can forget the "taco wars".

Kaye was preceded in death by her father, Herbert, and her mother, Irene. She is survived by her husband, Fred, her four children Michael, Cissy, Daniel, and David; her sister, Rachel. Her grandchildren: Eric, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Timothy, Kyla, Julian, Rory, Micheal, Autumn, and Elya. Great grandchildren:  Riley and Logan; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She will be missed, but the Joy and Love she shared will live on forever.
